When it comes to music influences, I got to say I like bands that don't take themselves too seriously.
Bands like England's Toy Dolls. London's Cock Sparrer. California's NOFX, and Nobunny.Plus, I got to add Pankrti, from Slovenia, because I've recently visited their country.
And as an American who discovered punk many years before the internet was widespread, I am influenced by the MaximumRockandRoll philosophy of no racism, sexism or homophobia.
Travel: One of the coolest things I ever heard, was "start a punk band and see the world". And on that note, I think travel is great way togrow as a person.
When it comes to what drum stuff to play, I have made a conscience decision to play an assortment of equipment that is unique to me and only to me. Why? Because, I like sounding unique. Heck, being different, is why I originally got into punk music. Because, back then, punk music was an alternative to the mainstream. Now, some so-called punk is 100% mainstream.

To aid my growth and improvement as a drummer. I seek out drum lessons in person and online. Plus, I utilize books too.
Some notable learning experiences:
March 2016: Took in person lessons for a month with a former Nashville recording artist.
Late 2016: Took online lessons via Mike Johnston.
September 2017: Had a lesson and evaluation (of my drumming) in Slovenia, with Soki (Drummer for Black Diamond and Elvis Jackson).
Goals: My main goal is to keep improving and stay busy as a drummer. By either playing in multiple bands, or a single full time band. My end goal is to play one of a kind shows and venues. Whereas, non-profit venues and activist punk shows take precedence.
Note:
Carlos K., also plays guitar, sings and records under the band name, Right is Wrong.
